Chelsea’s money spending is overwhelming.

Chelsea is the team that spent the most money in the transfer market this winter in European football. Chelsea have signed Mihailo Mudrik, Joao Felix (on loan), Noni Madueke, Andrei Santos, Benoit Badiacil and David Popana. A total of 173 million euros (about 232 billion won) was spent to recruit six people.

Compare that to other leagues and you can see how much Chelsea have spent. 20 Spanish La Liga teams, 18 German Bundesliga teams, 20 Italian Serie A teams, and 20 French Ligue 1 teams.

78 teams from Spain, Germany, Italy and France spent €69 million on transfers this winter. This means that each team spent an average of 880,000 euros (approximately 1.18 billion won). Chelsea spent 173 million euros, about 200 times the average. 안전놀이터

Among the six players Chelsea have signed, Mudrik is the most expensive player. Mudrik, dubbed ‘Ukrainian Neymar’, is worth 100 million euros (approximately 134 billion won). Chelsea have signed Moudrik to an eight-and-a-half-year contract.

Why did you spend so much money at once? Chelsea are in trouble. While playing 19 games in the 2022-23 season, they recorded 8 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses, remaining in 10th place. The difference between the 4th place and the 4th place is a whopping 10 points. It won’t be easy to get into the top 4 for the rest of the season.

In addition, about 10 key players were injured. N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic, Ben Chilwell and Edouard Mendy have all been injured and have been sidelined. Chelsea are rushing to regain their former reputation by signing expensive players.
