Kim Sang-soo, who played for Samsung until last year, played in Daegu for the first time since joining KT, and his perfect score for the second consecutive day put the game out of reach for his hometown team.

Before the first game of the three-game series on the 26th, he said, “I’m more excited this time than when I came to Daegu for the March exhibition game. It’s our first away game in Daegu this season, so it’s double the excitement,” he said. “I had a strange feeling during the Samsung home game (April 28-30), but this time it’s even worse because it’s an away game. It was like that when I came out of the toll gate, and I felt strange in many parts.”

With runners on second and third in the fifth inning, tied 1-1, Kim lined a single up the middle off Samsung starter Yang Chang-seop. KT went on to defeat Samsung 4-1 thanks to Kim’s game-winning hit.

On the 27th, he completed his third three-hit game of the season in a 5-2 victory. After opening the scoring with a single up the middle in the first inning, Kim Sang-soo lined a single to right field to bring home Oh Yoon-seok from third base with runners on first and third in the second inning. He added an infield hit in the fourth to complete his three-hit game and scored on back-to-back singles by Anthony Alford and Byung-ho Park. 안전놀이터

“I’m always focused on my game, but I feel like I got a lot of luck yesterday and today at Lapak. Even though I didn’t hit the ball well, I’m glad that the result was good,” he said humbly.

“After yesterday, I spent time with my family after a long time. I don’t come to Daegu often after the transfer, so I was happy to see them at the ballpark for the first time in a long time,” he smiled.

He said, “It will be a strange feeling every time I look for Rafa, who I have always loved. There were a lot of KT fans here today, and I’m glad I got the chance to give back a little bit in front of those who support me,” he smiled.
