Lee Kang-in and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have landed in Busan.
PSG arrived in South Korea via Gimhae International Airport at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 2. PSG will face Jeonbuk Hyundai in the third leg of the Coupang Play Series at Busan Asiad Stadium at 5 p.m. on March 3. It will be a clash between two prestigious clubs from the French Ligue 1 and the Korean K League.
A successful tour of Japan. PSG played Al Nasr (0-0 draw), Cerezo Osaka (2-3 loss), and Inter Milan (1-2 loss) to prepare for the season. Although these were important friendlies, the results were disappointing. PSG will end their preseason with a final evaluation game against Jeonbuk.
All eyes will be on Lee Kang-en. A friendly against Le Havre preceded the Japan tour. Luis Enrique started Lee in a back three with Marco Asensio and Ismael Garvey. He showed the same flashes of brilliance he had shown in Mallorca. He consistently troubled the defense down the right flank. He linked up perfectly with his first teammates.
However, at the end of the first half, something unexpected happened. Lee felt a pain in his hamstring. There was no need to overdo it, so he didn’t play anymore. He then accompanied the team on their tour of Japan, but missed all three games to watch his teammates.
Now, Lee is on the verge of a comeback. “PSG will need him,” said French publication VIPSG. They have suffered several injuries in the build-up to the game. Left-back Rybin Kurzawa is out with a knee injury. Winger Lee Kang-in participated in some of the training sessions,” and expressed his expectations.
Prior to his arrival in Busan at the end of last month, Lee tweeted, “Hello. To all PSG fans in Korea. I’ll see you soon in Busan,” and today he met the Korean fans at Gimhae International Airport. Wearing a cap, Lee appeared at the gate alongside Neymar and Keylor Navas. Once again, he was flanked by Neymar, with whom he has become close since joining PSG. He will have a showcase in front of the Korean fans during the final match of the preseason against Jeonbuk.
Lee Kang-in has become a Parisian this summer. Last season, Lee was ‘Mallorca itself’. His breakaway runs, darting dribbles, and sharp link-ups stood out in every game. His partnership with Bedat Murki was a highlight, but he also showed great improvement in his ability to finish on his own. 먹튀검증
His dribbling ability, in particular, is among the best in all five major European leagues. According to soccer statistics site Fúscore.com, Lee made a whopping 90 successful dribbles last season. This ranked fourth in all five major European leagues, behind “world-class” Vinicius Junior (112), “GOAT” Messi (102), and “French Ligue 1 prospect” Jeremy Dokou (96).
The offers have been pouring in since last winter. Even in the English Premier League (EPL), which is currently considered the best in the world. Atletico Madrid, the “big three” of Spanish La Liga, were also in the mix. They even have a concrete plan to sign him. Spain’s El Goal Digital reported that “Mallorca have no intention of letting Lee go easily. Atle
