The starting lineups for Arsenal and Manchester City have been released.
Arsenal and Manchester City will face off in the 2023 FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on July 7 at 0:00 a.m. ET.
The Community Shield is a match between last season’s league champions and FA Cup winners before the Premier League kicks off. However, as City won the league and FA Cup last year, the league’s second-place team, Arsenal, will be playing in the Community Shield.
After narrowly missing out on the league title, Arsenal had a busy summer. They bolstered their midfield and defense with the signings of Kai Havertz and Julian Timbers. They also added Declan Rice, arguably the best midfielder in England, to their ranks, setting up a fierce title race. 메이저사이트
Man City had a quieter summer compared to Arsenal. They lost Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona, but brought in Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea. While he won’t be available against Arsenal, they did bring in promising defender Yoshko Gvardiol as they aim to win the ‘treble’ for the second year in a row.
Before the game, the starting lineups for both teams were revealed. Arsenal will start with Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Timber, Thomas Partey, Rice, Martin Ødegaard, Boukayo Sakho, Gabriel Martinelli, and Haberz.
City will start with Ortega Moreno, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Lubin Dias, Manuel Akanji, Rodri, Kovacic, Bernardo Silva, Jack Grealish, Julian Alvarez, and Elling Holland.
