The Hanwha Eagles have signed a new foreign bat.

The Hanwha Eagles signed a new foreign-born outfielder, Nick Williams (b. 1993), for a total of $450,000 ($150,000 signing bonus, $250,000 salary, $50,000 incentive).

A left-handed hitting outfielder, Williams is known for his aggressive play in the field, and his defense and focus. He is primarily a corner outfielder, but can also play center field. He also has a good work ethic, so Hanwha expects him to fit in easily with his new team. 메이저놀이터

He made his big league debut in 2017 with the Philadelphia Phillies, where he hit double-digit home runs (12-17) for two straight years until 2018. In 2021, he played for the Chicago White Sox and has a career major league batting average of .251 with 31 home runs and 110 RBIs in 294 games. 토토사이트 순위

In 2022, he moved to Mexican professional baseball. Playing for Toros de Tijuana, Williams batted .370 with 29 home runs and 72 RBIs in 2022, ranking at the top of various batting lists, and has continued to perform well this season, batting .304 with nine home runs and 28 RBIs.

“I’m very grateful to be given this opportunity,” Williams said. I’m excited to get a fresh start,” said Williams. “I want to help the team win as many games as possible, and my goal is to finish the season on a high note. I can’t wait to meet the Eagles fans.”

Williams, meanwhile, is expected to arrive sometime next weekend after finalizing the necessary administrative procedures, including obtaining a visa.

Hanwha claimed Brian O’Grady off waivers on March 31. O’Grady was 10-for-80 with a .125 OPS and .337 batting average with eight doubles, three triples and three RBIs in 22 games. Since parting ways with O’Grady, Hanwha has been searching for a new foreign bat.
