Kylian Mbappe leads PSG’s attack alongside Lee Kang-In. Kylian Mbappe has quashed Real Madrid transfer speculation and returned to training with the team.

PSG announced on its website on Thursday that Mbappe has returned to first-team training.

“We have had a constructive and positive dialog with Mbappe,” the club said.

Mbappe had been at odds with PSG, refusing to sign a contract extension. Mbappe wanted to play one more season at PSG and then leave as a free agent to join Real Madrid without a transfer fee.

Mbappe was already at odds with PSG.

In June, European soccer transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on his channel that “Mbappe has informed the club that he does not intend to trigger the option to extend his contract until 2025. This means that Mbappe’s contract expires in June 2024. PSG will not let Mbappe go without a transfer fee. Mbappe could be sold unless he signs a new contract.”

Faced with the prospect of losing Mbappe without a transfer fee, PSG accepted a transfer offer from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal, but Mbappe refused to meet with Al-Hilal officials when they traveled to Paris. PSG were furious that they had created an opportunity for the player to move but he refused.

As a result, PSG excluded Mbappe from their preseason Asia tour. He was also removed from the first-team training roster.

Notably, Mbappe was also left off the roster for the 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season opener against Lorient at home on December 12.

PSG’s reasons for leaving Mbappe out are clear. With the arrival of Lionel Messi, PSG was going to use Mbappe as a more potent attacking option.

Mbappe is the next big thing in world soccer behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. There is also interest in pitting him against Elling Holland (Manchester City).

Mbappe has been in the spotlight since his debut. He shocked the world with AS Monaco from 2015-2017. He made his professional debut as a teenager and raised expectations in the 2016-2017 UEFA Champions League when he helped Manchester City eliminate Manchester City from the competition.

After his stellar performances, Mbappe moved to PSG on loan for the 2017-2018 season and completed his move to PSG for the 2018-2019 season for a reported €180 million ($262.1 million).

It was a huge deal, but Mbappe’s arrival was transformative for PSG. Mbappe played alongside superstars like Neymar and Messi, but he wasn’t intimidated. In fact, he was recognized as a top star. Mbappe has 212 goals and 98 assists in 260 games for PSG. 메이저사이트

So, in PSG’s eyes, Mbappe is on a different level. He’s a different type of player than Messi and Neymar because he was signed as a youngster because of his potential. Despite the high expectations of staying at the club, Mbappe has been at odds with PSG.

In particular, Mbappe emphasized that he wanted to move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid before signing with PSG last summer. Karim Benzema’s successor
