Atletico Madrid is set to change its main shirt sponsor.

According to Spanish outlet Relevo, the club is trying to sign a deal with a new main sponsor as soon as possible. The best positioned company is the new Saudi airline Riyadh Air, which is hoping to sign a deal for the next few seasons.

AT Madrid had ‘Whalefin’ as their main shirt sponsor until last season. If AT Madrid is successful in signing a deal with Riyadh Air, they will be paid more than the €42 million per season they received from Whalefin.

According to the media, the club has not yet reached an agreement with anyone and is still working with Whalepin. It is also openly in talks with both companies for another main sponsorship that will be used for training apparel.

Saudi Arabia unveiled Riyadh Air a few weeks ago in an effort to boost tourism. Riyadh Air aims to carry more than 100 million passengers to more than 100 destinations around the world, and this sponsorship is part of that plan. 스포츠토토

AT Madrid still retain the Whalefins and the club insists that the partnership will continue this season, but they are working to finalize a deal with the airline that could be announced in the coming days.
