With more draws than wins, Daejeon Hana Citizen’s recent three consecutive draws have put pressure on the team to drop in the standings.
After much deliberation, Daejeon head coach Lee Min-sung decided to throw a curveball against Suwon Samsung in the 21st round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 at Daejeon World Cup Stadium on Sept. 9. Last year’s top scorer in the K League 2 (second division), Yoo Kang-hyun, who was mostly used as a joker, was the frontline striker.
